What does solidarity look like? In the face of rampant crisis, corruption, and food scarcity, what does it mean for us to stand with farmers, and why is it important for us to do this?
This October 11, come and join Bread Art Journal and the Artist Alliance for Peasant Rights as we explore these questions in an afternoon of creative journaling, zine-making, and discussion at Room 5, 2/F Chapterhouse, QC! With the theme of 'Cultivating Solidarity', we'll be using this opportunity to reflect on how our struggles are interconnected with the issues of Filipino farmers, and how we can begin - even in the smallest of ways - to support them.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your own creative materials and sign up for access to our creative journal and zine materials buffet, journaling session, and educational discussion to help bring awareness to peasant's rights, plights, and what we can do to help!
This is a non-profit, community-driven workshop, so please feel free to donate what you can at the event!
